Matt uses instructional technology in his everyday classroom work. He is very enthusiastic about its potential to help students learn. Matt has been involved in technology assistance for teachers for over a year on a volunteer basis.

10. In order to receive academic credit for the internship, students are required to complete 135 hours of on site work. Students must accurately log the number of hours completed over the course of the internship. Hours must be approved by the students internship supervisor.



At this point in time, are you on target to complete 135 hours of on site work by the end of the semester?

I do believe I should be set to complete all of the hours by the end of the summer semester. I am currently around 25 hours while teaching.



11. Did you go over your contract with your site supervisor and find you could accomplish your objectives.

Yes absolutely. He and I are on the same page and believe we will meet the objectives.



12. Are you being treated in a professional manner and as part of the work team?

Absolutely. They are very pleased to have an extra set of hands completing many tasks this summer.



13. Are you receiving significant guidance and instruction on site? Explain.

So far yes. I have been on vacation for the beginning of the summer so I have not quite gotten into the significant part of the internship quite yet.



14. Are you performing activities in which you learned new skills? Explain.

Yes. At this point, the few hours I have been able to accomplish so far have challenged me to use the variety of skills acquired through the Harrisburg University program.



15. Would you recommend the internship site to another student?

Absolutely. It has been a great experience so far.



16. Would you consider the internship site for employment after graduation?

I would be pleased if this was a possibility.
